Tunisia-UTICA: National Chamber of Restaurants and Cafes launches distress cry

The regional representatives of the National Chamber of Restaurants and Cafes – Category A – displayed their concerns concerning the decline of the position of the owners of restaurants and cafes.

Calling the closure of establishments at 4 p.m. as an abusive decision, they assumed that this was an immediate cause of the indebtedness of some owners and condemned the extension of this measure, for another 3 weeks.

Catering professionals have likewise requested the agreement of an additional period to pay certain bills and a commitment from the State to compensate them at the end of this crisis, threatening to escalate in the event of non-satisfaction of their demands.
