Tunisia – Vaccines delivered to presidency: Mechichi orders investigation

The Prime Ministry has not been informed of the arrival of coronavirus vaccine shots to Tunisia and does not know their source and destination,” the Prime Ministry announced in a statement Monday.

To this end, Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi decreed the immediate initiation of an inquiry into the circumstances of their entry into Tunisia, the conditions of their storage, management and distribution, the statement added.

The same source specifies that the vaccination operation is under the jurisdiction of the national committee to combat the coronavirus, which devised a national vaccination strategy and classified the priority categories.
