The vetting process for renewing one-third of the members of the Independent High Authority for Elections (French: ISIE) has begun as the parliamentary commission in management met Friday under the chairmanship of House Speaker Rached Ghannouchi.

The committee examined the draft decision on opening applications and the rating measure of nominees.

Nominations will be open as soon as the resolution is published in the Official Gazette of the Tunisian Republic and will close by the end of August.
