Free Destourian Party leader Abir Moussi condemned the process in which Ennahdha’s Islamists ridiculed the law and the basic rules of democracy, by bringing in the judicial police within the parliament and inside the plenary hall.
In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, She accused Rached Ghannouchi of flouting the parliament management rules and called upon on all MPs to reject this charade and correct this situation. Abir Moussi further accused the Islamists of having introduced criminals and terrorists into parliament the so that they attack deputies, stipulating that the PDL will proceed with their action and its sit-ins in all areas of the Assembly until it obtains satisfaction of their demands.
Moussi has additionally accused the prosecution of making double standards, reacting to an unfounded complaint against her and ignoring all the complaints filed by her and her bloc.
She also promised to convict Ghannouchi for calling for murder when he declared “death to the enemies of democracy”, alluding to those who dared to rise up against his will.
