Tunisia-Video: Law enforcement repel demonstrators and prevent them from accessing Bardo Square

Demonstrators rallied for June 14 Sit-in were pushed back by Law enforcement who had been commanded to close off Bardo square and prevent citizens from entering it.

Former MP  and member of the June 14 sit-in collective denounced the authorities’ decision to deprive citizens of their constitutional right to peaceful demonstration and declared that the collective will meet to examine measures to be taken for escalation in the face of this ban on demonstrations. She added that state security and social peace are at risk with this kind of behaviour from the authorities.
