Speaking to Tunisie Numérique,former Ennahdha member Lotfi Zitoun addressed the topic of parliamentary immunity.
Mr Zitoun related that parliamentary immunity is a delicate subject that has ignited controversy.
He, therefore, announced that some MPs have exploited their parliamentary immunity to defend themselves against the application of some judicial decisions.
He, consequently, called on parliamentary representatives facing prosecution to waive their immunity to aid the conduct of investigations.
