Speaking to reporters after meeting prime minister-designate Hichem Mechichi,“Echaab ” Secretary-General Zouhair Maghzaoui said that he discussed Mechichi his proposal to form a government of independent competences.
In this perspective, Maghzaoui estimated that the political context in Tunisia is not favourable to the formation of such a government adding that this government of independent competences can, nevertheless, pass to the parliament and will be, in this case, entitled “ the government of fear ”.
The member of the Democratic bloc added that in the event that a government of independent powers is formed, nothing guarantees the sustainability of the latter.
“This proposal comes in the context of efforts to bring the country out of its crisis but cannot be achieved,” said Maghzaoui.
In addition, he affirmed that the consultations with Mechichi are not finished and that the democratic block will have another meeting
