Tunisia-[Video] Mongi Rahoui: Rached Ghannouchi’s incompetence has been proven, he must step down

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, MP Mongi Rahoui announced this Wednesday, December 9, 2020, that the practice of physical violence within the parliament is solely the direct reason for the sit-in of the Democratic bloc to which he supports. The original reason for the demonstration is the incompetence of the house speaker and his stand-in such conflicts, he added.

The House speaker extends his support to his allies of Al Karama to the detriment of the rules of procedure of the parliament, explained Rahoui, before adding that through this rally, the deputies command among other things, the resignation of the president of Rached Ghannouchi.

He additionally denied accusations that all the scandals that have taken place at Bardo Palace in recent days were in fact directed at avoiding the adoption of the 2021 state budget before the deadlines presented by the Constitution.
