Tunisie Telecom declared on December 26, 2020, the signing of a partnership and sponsorship deal with the tennis player and the first Arab player to enter the quarterfinals of grand slam tournaments and placed among the top 35 international tennis players Ons Jabeur.
This partnership, which incorporates a period of two years, approved yesterday Friday, December 25, 2020, at the Tennis Club of Tunis, will allow Tunisie Telecom to back the influence of Ons Jabeur in special and of Tunisian sport in general since the logo of the Société Nationale des Télécommunications will follow the greatest Arab tennis woman in history and the Tunisian tennis ambassador in various international tournaments in which she will participate during the next two years.
In this context, Mr Samir Said, President and CEO of Tunisie Telecom, said that the signed sponsorship contract is part of the historic responsibility of the national operator to assist Tunisian sport, adding that Ons Jabeur was elected to support women’s sport and individual sport, in the care of hoisting the Tunisian flag at the highest level during the biggest international sporting dates.
Samir added: “Our support for our heroine Ons Jabeur is to promote the values of distinction prevalent in elite sport. We passionately applaud Ons Jabeur, we encourage and wish her success in the face of new trials in order to expand her track record, continue her career as well as advancement in the WTA classification “.
For its part, Ons Jabeur embraced the conclusion of the brand-new partnership agreement with Tunisie Telecom. She added in this context: “I am sincerely very pleased to wear the colours of our national operator, Tunisie Telecom as a sponsor, I consider that this new partnership will be productive for both parties, and I believe as strongly as the values excellence that the world of elite sport shares with the business world will let us achieve great exploits together ”.
