The residents of Sfax believed that the demonstrations that rocked the governorate on Tuesday indicate the seriousness of the crisis and the challenges confronting citizens in the region.
The demands are immense on the Sfaxiens who can no longer make ends meet because of economic difficulties, the high cost of living, the curfew which stops working at night and the lack of sources of income, people told Tunisie Numérique reporter.
The citizens likewise complained about the deficits which have increased with the scarcity of domestic gas and gasoline, which affects the lives of the inhabitants of the city.
They urged the authorities to get down on the ground and face the reality of the living conditions of citizens to attain radical solutions.
The speakers also highlighted supporting these protest movements in order to obtain their rights.
They condemned the deterioration of basic infrastructure and the lack of entertainment venues, stressing that the situation has become catastrophic in the city.
