Tunisia- [Video]: Taxi drivers protest in Medenine over nonactivated licenses settlements

Several local taxi drivers in Medenine conducted a organized demonstration in front of the governorate main headquarters promptly demanding the local municipality to enable them to properly obtain licenses which were allotted for 78 drivers last May.
In an official statement to Tunisie Numérique’s reporter, a protestor named El Hachemi Shadi said that they have already sought regional offices last week in order to activate the granted licences, the mayor promised them to promptly approve the issued permits in 24 hours.
Our interviewer signalled the protestors intention to an open sit-in in front of the district headquarters until the official approval of their direct requests.
