Tunisia – VIDEO: War in Palestine: Saïed: Support must not stop at declarations!!!

President of the Republic, Kais Saïed, chaired, this Monday, October 9, 2023, at Carthage Palace, a working session in which prime minister, Ahmed Hachani, Minister of National Defense, Imed Memmiche, ùminister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, Minister of Social Affairs, Malek Ezzahi, of Health, Ali Mrabet, as well as Minister Advisor to the President of the Republic, Mustapha Ferjani and President of the Organization of the Tunisian Red Crescent, Abdellatif Chabou.

During this meeting, ways to support the Palestinian people, diplomatically and in the field of health, were examined. The shipment of medicine, blood, surgical equipment and generators was planned, particularly after electricity was cut across much of the Gaza Strip.

Saïed stated that support must not stop at declarations and press releases, noting the need to take real measures of support.

Contacts took place between the Tunisian Red Crescent and its Palestinian counterpart, to determine what the fighters and the population need in their confrontation with the Zionist enemy.

In this same context, the possibility of moving a certain number of wounded Palestinians to Tunisia was also raised, in addition to the possibility of sending specialized Tunisian medical and paramedical personnel to Palestine.
