Qalb Tounes parliamentary bloc leader Oussama Khlifi announced that his party MPs will hoist the black flag during parliamentary sessions to protest against the slander campaigns, as well as the tries by some politicians to influence the justice in Nabil Karoui case.
Emphasizing the right of the party leader to a fair trial, the MP stated the protest will not stop the bloc from doing its work and attending sessions.
He further spoke about the reform of the parliament Internal Regulations, believing that this text had to experience some changes, in particular with regard to “parliamentary tourism” which, according to him, is similar. to a “falsification” of the election results.
Regarding the exclusion of Qalb Tounes from the National Dialogue, Khlifi affirmed that the party was not formally dismissed, but that it “will not allow in any case the non-respect of the election results”.
