Tunisia [Videos]: Presidency of the University of Sfax, two candidates is running

Dr Abdelwahed Mokni is running for a second term as President of the University of Sfax. Its goal is directed on enhancing the situation of the public university and the status of academics.

His nomination comes after the vote of all scientific councils, directors and heads of academic institutions dependent on the University of Sfax.

The second nominee for the presidency of the University of Sfax for the period 2020/2023 is Hamadi Khamakhem, professor of higher education at the Faculty of Sciences of Sfax and current dean of the faculty.

The nominees for the University Council on Professor Hamadi Khamakhem’s list are Professor Hassan Mnif, Director of the National School of Electronics and Communication of Sfax and Professor Aymen Damak, Faculty of Medicine of Sfax.

Its program intends to restore the University of Sfax by evolving international relations, by opening up research opportunities, by promoting the professor at the university and by improving his capacities while appreciating the efforts of the researcher at the national and international level.
