Tunisia-[Video]Sousse: Workers at the Sidi Bouali dairy factory block the national road N ° 1

The artisans of the dairy factory of Sidi Bouali (governorate of Sousse) observed this morning a demonstration blocking the national road N ° 1.
Mohsen Jaballah, general manager of the base union of the Sidi Bouali dairy plant told Tunisie Numérique correspondent that successive governments have widely ignored their demands and have not honoured their commitments for the past 3 years.
He added that the workers have not received their wages for almost two years, evoking that they do not possess social security coverage.
The workers called on the President of the Republic, Kais Saied to intervene to force the resumption of the activities of the dairy plant. Mohsen Jaballah stated that the closure of the dairy plant and the ignorance of the workers’ demands are part of the regionalism run against the Sahelians.
