Tunisia: WADA calls for release of arrested ANAD official

In a press release published today, Tuesday, May 14, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) voiced itself following the detention of the director general of the National Anti-Doping Agency of Tunisia (ANAD).

WADA supports the efforts of ANAD and international federations to enforce the decision of non-compliance.

The Director General’s arrest was concerning, and WADA called for his immediate release. Despite the obstacles, WADA is operating closely to resolve the issue quickly, with notable progress. WADA remains confident that this situation will be resolved quickly.
