Tunisia-Walid Jalled: Shame on the politicians who betrayed the country and the people

In a post on his official Facebook account, Walid Jalled accused numerous politicians of treason, benefiting from the democratic transition and running when the whole democratic process is threatened. “Where are the political personalities who have profited from the democratic transition, who have become the first rank leaders of the post-revolution parties and who have occupied significant positions in the State and with their policies and their choices (…) The way democracy has become threatened, and today among them are those who fled the country without regret, like a soldier escaping the battlefield (…) Among them there are those who have selected silence, there are likewise those who left the country (…) Shame on all those who betrayed the country and the people, and taunted us with their democratic principle and their approach to facing tyranny and their role in the revolution of the “Arab Spring”,  he writes.
