Speaking to Elhiwar Ettounsi TV, WHO Representative in Tunisia Yves Souteyrand stressed the difficulty of the epidemiological situation in Tunisia given the increase of the infection tally.
Mr Souteyrand also attributed the difficulty due to a rise in deaths in addition to cases of recovery and fragility of the economic and social situation.
He also called for the need to respect the health protocol as it is the most efficient way to reduce the number of infections in the coming days.
He also indicated that Tunisia managed to overcome the epidemic at an earlier stage, but the price was high.
The representatives also affirmed that the WHO will give logistic support to Tunisia in its fight against the pandemic.
