Tunisia-Workers’ Party: condemnation of Marzouki dictated by Carthage Palace

The Workers’ Party slammed the judgment handed down on Wednesday against former President of the Republic Moncef Marzouki, calling it “political” dictated by  Carthage palace. “Marzouki’s ruling comes on top of other ‘unjust’ judgments that have affected activists and bloggers,” the party said.
The party added, that it “fundamentally disagrees Marzouki’s positions, and attributes to his party a large part of the responsibility for the degeneration of the situation during the reign of the troika, but it condemns, however, this decision and the speed the response of the prosecution after Kais Saied’s statements on this matter.
