Tunisia-Workers’ Party: This is a coup government

The workers’ party addressed via a press release the composition of the new government of prime minister  Najla Bouden. The party considered this government to be a coup government. The party similarly condemned the fact that this government which was put in place under the state of emergency is not restricted in time.

 

It additionally criticized the discourse delivered yesterday by prime minister Najla Bouden during the swearing-in ceremony, saying she did not address the most significant issues. 

It underlined in the same context the necessity to take urgent measures to save the people from social problems. The Workers’ Party likewise felt that the country needs to break with the era of the Ennahdha Movement and its allies as well as with the former RCD.
