Tunisia: Yamina Zoghlami calls on MPs of the democratic bloc to resign

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, MP Samia Abbou addressed the latest events which took place today at the parliament, in particular the verbal clashes between the MPs which caused adjourning the plenary session.

Abbou stated that MPs Mongi Rahoui and Amal Saidi were stopped by parliament Vice-President Samira Chaouachi from speaking on the economic recovery bill.

Revealing her dissatisfaction with Chaouachi’s decision, Abbou revealed that Yamina Zoghlami called on Democratic Bloc deputies to resign. She said, nevertheless, that the MPs of the bloc in question will not resign and will proceed to enlighten public opinion on the actions of members of the political coalition.
