MP Yassine Ayari denounced, in a post published on his Facebook page, the decree-law signed during the last hours of activity of the Fakhfakh government, and which is in total contradiction with the environmental policy of the State, in terms of the fight against pollution from plastics.
This decree-law, orders the use of plastic bags, instead of paper, for the packaging of cement. What constitutes, according to the deputy a serious threat to the health of the Tunisian.
Ayari pointed out that the main beneficiary of this law is none other than a businessman who financed the election campaign of Mohamed Abbou, anti-corruption minister. This businessman who started a plastic container manufacturing company in 2018.
Ayari added that among the shareholders of this company, prominently is the current Minister of Industry, Salah Ben Youssef
