Former prime minister Youssef Chahed announced in a Facebook post that he filed a complaint against people who spread a rumour alleging that Chahed had been convoked by the examining judge to hear him in the case of the embezzlement of a Saudi donation which was meant to renovate the mosque of Okba Ibn Nafaa. ”
Chahed stated that he is hopeful that the judiciary will do him justice.
He adds that rumours and slander are ruining the country and the people.
