An elderly person, originally from the El Fahs delegation in the Zaghouan governorate, died on Wednesday, following his infection with the new Coronavirus, the second death in this delegation, bringing the number of deaths due to COVID -19 in the whole governorate to 5 cases.
The deceased had been admitted to the intensive care unit at Zaghouan Regional Hospital since he was infected with the virus, where he died today.
According to the same source, 11 new infections were recorded on Wednesday, bringing the total number of infections in Zaghouan to 180 since the start of the second wave of the pandemic.
