Tunisia-Zamalek: Ferjani Sassi tested positive for COVID-19

Zamalek’s football team general supervisor, Amir Mortada Mansour, confirmed that Ferjani Sassi has tested positive for COVID-19.

Zamalek president Mortada Mansour had announced on Sunday night that Sassi has contracted COVID-19 while in Tunisian national team’s closed camp.

Amir Mortada confirmed that the midfielder informed the team doctor that he has indeed contracted the coronavirus.

“The medical and technical staff will decide whether or nor Sassi plays. The player told the team doctor that he has contracted the coronavirus,” he told Zamalek’s official website.

“We contacted the Tunisian Federation demanding a full medical report but we didn’t receive anything yet. We’re still waiting for it in other to determine the medical aspect.
