Tunisia-Zarzis: the general strike successful at 99%

In response to the request of the administrative committee of the Regional Labor Union in Zarzis, a general strike was organised today to shed light on the file of migrants who vanished at the sea.

A massive protest with the participation of the residents of Zarzis and the families of the missing took place in front of the headquarters of the delegation.

According to regional officials, the strike was 99%successful.

Remember that Zarzis has been boiling for a few weeks following the disappearance of 18 irregular migrants. 7 remains were washed up, including 4 buried in the “African Garden” which prompted their families to request for the DNA test.
