The national marine intervened to save fifteen stranded Tunisian irregular migrants ,75 kilometres east of Zarzis as they were travelling illegally towards the Italian coasts on board of a makeshift boat.
Aged between 16 and 32, The migrants sailed During the night of 18-19 November from the coasts of Zarzis however, The motor-boat broke down leaving them stranded.
Deported to the port of Zarzis, the migrants were delivered over to the region’s National Guard units to take the required legal measures against them.
