Tunisia-Zied Ladahri speaks out on the reasons for his resignation from the Ennahdha

MP Zied Ladhari declared that his departure from the Ennahdha Movement and its parliamentary bloc is due to his conflict with the choices made by the Islamist party since the dismissal of Habib Jemli’s government.

He further rejected any relationship between his resignation and his non-proposal for the presidency of the party, refuting all rumours on the subject.

The MP further praised the efforts made by Hichem Mechichi, considering that the latter is “a good head of government”.

Concerning what he plans to do after leaving Ennahdha, the latter responded that Tunisia does not need more political parties but rather a new strategic vision around which all parties can unite.
