Secretary-general of the People’s Movement, Zouhair Maghzaoui reported that a “national front” made up of his party, the Democratic Current and the UGTT could soon see the light of day, under the aegis of the President of the Republic Kais Saied.
In a statement to Acharaa Al Magharibi, He that the two parties named, the UGTT and the President of the Republic, shared many points in common, in special the awareness of the necessity to revise the electoral law as well as the provisions linking to associations.
The MP added that this initiative will expand and that in the near future meetings will be held with UTICA, the Bar Association and other associations and NGOs.
He also indicated that the discussions and parliamentary sessions around the amendment of Legislative Decree 116 correlating to the audiovisual sector have made it to distinguish those who are for democracy from those who prefer “the passage in force”.
