Tunisian businessman Kamal El-Ghribi sends two aircraft carrying ambulances and tons of medicines to Syria

Today, from Pisa Military Airport, Mr Kamal El-Ghribi, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a number of representatives of government and humanitarian organizations, loaded all aid from ambulances, medicines and relief materials on two military planes heading towards Syria.

During his call with the officials of the Syrian Red Crescent, Mr Kamal El-Ghribi affirmed his unconditional solidarity with Syria and its people in this bereavement., indicating that he is ready to provide all possible help and assistance to Syria.

In a speech he addressed to the international media present at the airport, Mr Kamal El-Ghribi called on the Arab conscience to collaborate and converge with each other and reject split and division and requested Western governments to take the issue seriously and review their decisions regarding the Syrian issue.

In the end, Mr Kamal El-Ghribi hailed the Italian government’s position on this humanitarian stand, and the presence of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would have contributed to folding the page of the past and drawing new relations between Italy and Syria.
