The Tunisian Embassy in France denied Thursday, on its page on social networks, the presence of Wagner members in Djerba. “The Tunisian Embassy in France firmly denies the allegations conveyed, on Thursday, May 23, 2024, by the LCI news channel, in its program “24 Heures Pujadas” falsely revealing the presence of Wagner members in Djerba,” reads- the embassy press release.
And added: “The channel continues, unfortunately, its work of disinformation by circulating, once again, baseless information regarding Tunisia. Furthermore, no verification has been made beforehand with official sources”
