Tunisian flag: Photo that ignites web and provokes anger of Tunisians

The photo of the Tunisian flag concealed by a piece of red canvas during the Tunisian Open Masters competition organized in Radès enraged Tunisians and ignited the web.

A first in the history of Tunisian sport: This is the result of the sanctions decided at the end of April by the World Anti-Doping Agency against Tunisia for non-compliance with the world anti-doping code.

These sanctions furthermore provide that Tunisia can no longer organize championships, whether regional, continental or world, in addition to seeing its flag, which celebrated its 196th anniversary in 2023, stay at half-mast at the Olympic and Paralympic Games
