Tunisia:Tunisair acquires new A320neo aircraft

Tunisair acquired, on Friday, a new A320neo aircraft to strengthen its fleet.

This delivery is part of an acquisition program intended for at renewing the company’s fleet, according to the Ministry of Transport.

 

Tunisair already has four A320neo aircraft in December 2021, February 2022 October 2022 and December 2022.

 

With a capacity of 150 passengers, the aircraft has a new entirely equipped cabin and can adjust 12 passengers in business class and 138 passengers in economy class.

 

The new A320neo will ensure fuel savings of 20% compared to the prior generation of Tunisair aircraft.

 

In early July 2023, the flights planned by Tunisair for the summer of 2023 registered an estimated increase of 330,000 seats, an increase of 17% compared to 2022.
