Tunisie- Qalb Tounes proposes to name Parliament hall after late President Béji Caïed Essebsi

President of Qalb Tounes parliamentary bloc Oussema Khlif requested on behalf of all the members of his bloc to name the plenary hall of Parliament in honour of late President Béji Caïed Essebsi.

According to a press release issued by the party, the call “comes a few days before the first anniversary of the departure of one of the last veterans of the Tunisian Republic, Béji Caïed Essebsi, a seasoned politician, distinguished for his patriotism and who worked for reconciliation and to avoid political discord throughout his reign ”.

The bloc said that the initiative, with all its symbolic support, was a token of gratitude for all what Béji Caïed Essebsi offered to Tunisia and to the political scene.
