Sousse regional health director Mohamed Ghodhbani told Tunisie Numérique that a class was shut down at a middle school in Msaken under the governorate of Sousse due to Covid-19.
He pointed out that 3 students tested positive for Coronavirus which urged regional authorities to halt classes and step up screening operations to restrain the spread of the virus. He added that less than 10 infections were identified per 100,000 inhabitants.
Calling the situation stable, Ghodhbani said the death toll in the region has declined. “No patient is currently admitted to the intensive care unit at Farhat Hached University Hospital in Sousse,” he said.
