Turkey warns Greece not to ‘seek adventure’

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu  stated on Thursday that any talk of expanding Greek territorial waters in the Aegean is unacceptable.

Speaking at an end-of-the-year press briefing, the minister replied to the reports that Athens looks to extend its maritime borders around Crete to 12 nautical miles, saying “we are warning Greece once more. Don’t pursue false heroism by trusting those who might have your back. Don’t seek adventure. It won’t end well for you!”
