Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated on Wednesday that the only way to end the continued war in the Gaza Strip is a two-state solution and ensured that his country is “actively working for official recognition of Palestine as a full UN member.”
During a press conference with his Brazilian counterpart Mauro Vieira, Fidan said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “fundamentalist” government continues to perpetrate a “systematic massacre” against the Palestinians in Gaza, adding that Turkey will not stand idly by and do nothing about it.
