Turkish mine blast death toll rises to 41

The death toll from a coal mine blast in the Turkish city of Amasra increased to 41 on Saturday, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu announced.

At the time of the incident on Friday, 110 workers were in the mines, 58 of which got out by themselves after the explosion went off. The rescue mission brought the other 11 survivors to safety.

All miners are now accounted for, but 10 still remain hospitalized, according to Soylu.
