Two dead in Philadelphia shooting

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw stated two 23-year-old men have died, and one 3-year-old has been injured in a shooting that took place in that city earlier in the day.

Outlaw said the police are still searching for the culprit and possible motives for the attack. She went on to describe the event as “tragic” and “especially disturbing and sickening” given that “the victims are among our most vulnerable.”

“We again found ourselves lamenting as an otherwise beautiful afternoon had been sullied with gun violence,” Outlaw told the Associated Press (AP).
