United States President-elect Joe Biden affirmed on Monday his appointment of Janet Yellen for Department of the Treasury secretary. Yellen before worked as Federal Reserve Chair from 2014 to 2018 under former President Barack Obama. If she is confirmed, Yellen will be the first woman ever to be at the head of the US Treasury.
