President Donald Trump on Tuesday used his presidential platform to lambast the World Health Organization during the health crisis.
“Today I’m instructing my administration to halt funding of the World Health Organization while a review is conducted to assess the World Health Organization’s role in severely mismanaging and covering up the spread of the coronavirus,” Trump said.
Trump has previously accused the WHO of being biased towards China.
“The WHO failed in its basic duty and it must be held accountable,” he added.
“So many deaths have been caused by their mistakes,” he said.
