U.S. State Department drops ‘Palestinian Territories’ From List of Countries

The US State Department has promptly dismissed the ‘Palestinian territories’ from its official website.
“The website is being updated. There has been no change to our policy,” a State Department official stated in a official declaration

Initially, it subtly altered the official name from Palestinian state to ‘Palestinian territories‘ then to ‘territories of Palestinian authority’ before its complete removal.

The current version of the US State Department’s website only mentions Palestinians on its page for Israel.
Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh fiercely denounced the move in its weekly meeting in Ramallah.
