U.S. wins Women’s World Cup

The U.S  has emerged victorious for the fourth time after snatching the Women’s World Cup title.  The U.S defeated  Netherland by scoring 2-0 in Lyon, France.

Megan Rapinoe scored the first goal in the 62nd minute, midfielder Rose Lavelle doubled the score and seized the team’s ultimate victory when she scored in the 69th minute.
