UAE condemns Israel’s plan to relocate Gazans

The United Arab Emirates issued a statement Thursday denouncing statements by two Israeli ministers, Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir, in which they called for the displacement of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

UAE voiced “categorical rejection of such offensive statements and of all practices and procedures carried out in contravention of resolutions on international legitimacy, which threaten further escalation and instability in the region.” The country reiterated its call for an immediate ceasefire as well as the free flow of aid to the Palestinians.
