Edmonton police station in the city of London’s Enfield Borough declared a major incident after a suspect drove a car through the front door of the station, London’s Metropolitan Police Service stated on Wednesday.
A short statement issued by Scotland Yard revealed that no injuries have been reported so far, while a man “has been detained in connection with the incident.”
Videos shared by bystanders on social media show a man pouring an inflammable liquid onto the street and setting it on fire, and, while Yard’s statement bears no mention of arson, it does pose that “London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade are present.”
