UK to resume UNRWA funding

Newly designated British Foreign Minister David Lammy revealed on Friday that the government will reinstate its funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and called on Israel to “allow more aid into Gaza now.”

“I can confirm to the house that we are overturning the suspension of UNRWA funding, Britain will provide £21 million in funds,” Lammy added during a parliament meeting.
