United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres accepted recommendations from an independent review of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), his spokesperson Stephane Dujarric expressed in a statement on Monday.
“He has agreed with Commissioner General Philippe Lazzarini that UNRWA with the Secretary-General’s support, will establish an action plan to implement the recommendations,” Dujarric detailed.
Guterres once again called an all stakeholders to “actively support” the agency “as it is a lifeline for Palestine refugees in the region.”
