UNHRC chooses Morocco’s rep as chairman for 2024

The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) held a vote on Wednesday to elect the new president for 2024.

Permanent Representative of Morocco to the United Nations Office in Geneva Omar Zniber took the win, garnering 30 votes out of the total 47. The threshold needed was 24.
