UNRWA: Nearly 360,000 have fled Rafah recently

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) noted on Monday that almost 360,000 left Rafah since Israel ordered an evacuation from the Gazan city amid its ground operation there.

“Meanwhile, in north #Gaza bombardments & other evacuation orders have created more displacement & fear for thousands of families,” the agency wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “There’s nowhere to go. There’s NO safety without a #ceasefire.”
