US Defense Secretary Austin tests positive for COVID-19

United States Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin  tested positive for COVID-19 this morning, according to a statement issued by his office Monday.

The Secretary is experiencing mild symptoms and “will quarantine at home for the next five days, according to the CDC guidelines.” In his statement, Lloyd mentions that his last contact with United States President Joe Biden was on July 29.
